Shipping "Plastiki" wrote an important chapter in the history of ecology, when the catamaran, made of 12,500 recycled plastic bottles for a total weight of 12 tons, sailed from San Francisco to Sydney. His goal was to attract public attention on the situation of the seas and, above all, the enormous amount of plastic that invade the waters.
